| Project Description: Complete move and upgrade of entire power room equipment and wiring for off-grid system. Equipment was moved to a new power shed, all power room wiring and conduit to panels had to be completely replaced. Original inverter was maintained, but original Trace TC250 DC distribution panel and built-in charge controllers were upgraded to a Midnite Solar E-Panel and custom combiner assembly with dual MX60 charge controllers. The battery bank was changed from sealed AGM to flooded Surrette Series 5000 batteries with a new enclosure and automatic ventilation. A 12KW Kohler back-up generator was integrated with auto-start capability from the inverter. | ||||||||||||

Power panel upgraded from Xantrex SW to an Outback dual VFX3648 PS2 power panel with 2 MX60 charge controllers, 2.6 KW PV solar array re-wired from 24 to 72 volts, battery bank re-wired from 24 to 48 volts. | ||||||||||||
